Buck Barn roadworks draw to a close

Works being carried out at a major crossroads on the A24 are set to end.

West Sussex County Council engineers have been working to improve the traffic light system at Buck Barn crossroads after a rodent infestation caused ‘irreparable damage’ to underground cabling.

A spokesman for the council said the new signals had now been installed and the traffic management system would be removed by this evening (Friday April 15).

However, works to configure and optimise the signals would last a further week.
