House '˜90-per-cent' damaged by fire in Copthorne

No one has been injured in the incident, but fire crews were first called to the bungalow off Copthorne Road at 12.22pm.
A spokesman from West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said three engines had been sent to the fire, which they were still tackling at 5.15pm.
A technical rescue unit was also at the scene.
The spokesman described the house as ‘90-per-cent damaged’.

Hide AdThe house is set back from the road. Police, fire and paramedics were all called to the scene.
It is not yet clear how the fire started. Copthorne Road was closed in both directions while firefighters tackled the fire.
