Dogs savage sheep at Brede
A FARMER is reminding dog owners to keep their animals under control after one of his sheep had to be destroyed after being savaged.
Andrew Gaddie, of Goatham Farm near Brede said four of his animals were injured after sheep worrying on Saturday evening, and one was so badly hurt the vet had no choice but to put it down.
Mr Gaddie said: “It’s not nice but I can’t imagine anyone sends their dogs out to the sheep deliberately. I think what happens is the dogs run off and when the sheep run away some dogs will chase them.
