Man sought after spitting incident at Brighton bus stop
Police said: “At 3.45am on Tuesday October 16, a 19-year-old woman was with a friend, waiting for a No 25 bus at the bus stops in Old Steine, Brighton, when they were approached by a man who asked for a ‘hug’.
“She declined and got on the bus, but he then ran on board and spat in her face before running off again.”

Hide AdOfficers said the suspect is described as being of mixed race, about 20 years old, skinny, with black short hair and wearing dark clothing that included a hooded top and a puffa style coat.
PC Mark Butcher said police also wanted to speak to the man in connection with a report that a group of three youths or young men were harassing two women at the same spot, trying to sell them drugs and threatening to expose themselves.
He added: “We would like to find him and we would also like to trace the two other women, so if you know who he is or if you were also approached by that group, please contact us, either online or by calling 101, quoting serial 164 of 16/10.”
