Chichester streets to get a '˜makeover'

Streets in the Chichester area will have a brand new surface as part of the Even Better Pavements programme.

West Sussex Highways is investing £3m in the 2017/18 financial year - on top of the £2m spent last year – across six towns in the county.

The county council say the programme is designed to improve pavements and footways most used by vulnerable residents, both old and young, to protect people from slips, trips and falls.

Further locations will be announced later this year.

Roads included are as follows:

Chichester:

• Summersdale Road
