Men have higher driving test pass rate at Lancing and Worthing test centres

Men are more successful at passing their driving tests at Lancing test centre than women, according to the latest figures from the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency.

Between its opening in November 2017 and March 2018, 56.3 per cent of men who attempted the practical test at the Lancing test centre managed to pass, while 51 per cent of women were successful.

Across that period the centre carried out 2,849 tests – 1,450 for women and 1,399 for men.
